The opencast mine project is located in Gary, McDowell County, West Virginia, and is partially  located within Adkin’s range. The project covers a total of 906.72 acres and contains more than 30 million tons of raw coal resources. The coal fields lie on the on the top of the mountain range. The project has a well-equipped conveyor belt system, 4 km of special railway lines, modern conveyors, workshops, and other facilities. The project will facilitate local environmental improvement and land reclamation. The problems of rain and river pollution caused by the existing coal fields will be solved with the steady operation of the coal  preparation plants.
